Harris, Mattie Francis 
  	
GILMER -- Services for Mattie Francis Harris, 72, of Gilmer, 
will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 2, 2007, at Croley 
Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Alan Freeman officiating. 
Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery of Upshur 
County, Texas. Mrs. Harris passed away on Tuesday, February 
27, 2007, in Tyler, Texas. Mrs. Harris was born April 5, 1934, 
in the Grice Community of Upshur County, Texas, to Robert 
Anthony Dacus and Mary Gladys Hicks Dacus. She was a nurse's 
aide and a Baptist. Mrs. Harris was preceded in death by her 
husband, John Harris; and special companion, Odell Gage. She 
is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Danny Joe and 
Andrea Rogers of Gilmer; brother and sister-in-law, Vernon 
Carlton Dacus of Gilmer; sister, Annie Blackstone of Gilmer; 
two grandchildren, Mandy Rogers and Rianna and her husband, 
Grant Williams; and two great-grandchildren, Kylie Benavidez 
and Maci Williams. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. this 
evening, March 1, 2007, at the funeral home.
