Wilda Lou Murphy Harris

GILMER — Graveside services for Wilda Lou Murphy Harris, 79, of Dallas will be held at 2 p.m. 
Sunday, Sept. 1, 2002, in Shady Grove Cemetery with Charles Johnson officiating. Arrangements 
are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home of Gilmer. Mrs. Harris died Friday, Aug. 30, 
2002, in Big Sandy.

She was born July 21, 1923, in Upshur County and had lived in Dallas most of her life. She 
was a homemaker, and she was of the Methodist faith.

Mrs. Harris was preceded in death by her husband, W.C. "Bill" Harris, who died in 1992; a 
sister, Virginia Lambreath; and a brother, Jim Read Murphy.

She is survived by a sister-in-law, Geneva Murphy of Gilmer; her nieces and their spouses, 
Melinda and Virgil Greene of Gilmer and Kelly and Tony Laminack of Gilmer; and five 
great-nephews, Adam Hogue, Kyle Hogue, Will Greene, Read Hogue and Luke Laminack.

Visitation is 6-8 p.m. today, Aug. 31, at the funeral home.
