Harvey, Jim GILMER - Services for Jim Harvey, 70, of San Augustine, formerly of Gilmer, will be held at 11 a.m. today, July 21, 2007, at Chinquapin Missionary Baptist Church in San Augustine, with the Reverend Gerald Sowell officiating. Graveside services will be at 3:30 p.m. in Sunset Memorial Park of Gilmer. Born October 23, 1936, in Nacogdoches, he died Wednesday, July 18, 2007. He was a retired inspector of the tubing department at Lone Star Steel. A veteran of the United States Army, he served during the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his wife, Jo Harvey of San Augustine; sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmy Harvey II and wife, Tammy of Bailey, Mississippi, and Doug and Barbara Harvey of Lone Star; daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Dale Ream of Round Rock; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Billy and Billie Jean Harvey of Casa, Arkansas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
