Howard Sr., Dwight   	 

GILMER - Services for Dwight Howard Sr., 63, of Willis, formerly of 
Gilmer, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 7, 2007, at Croley 
Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. Richard Rogers officiating. Burial will 
follow in Hoover Cemetery of Upshur County.

Mr. Howard died Monday, June 4, 2007, in Willis.

He was born November 7, 1943, in Los Angeles, California, to DeNarl 
and Arielene Gage Howard. He graduated from Gladewater High School 
in Gladewater.

Mr. Howard was employed in the production control division of Kelly 
Springfield in Tyler, before his retirement. He was a member of 
Southern Oaks Baptist Church in Tyler, St. John's Masonic Lodge of 
Tyler and a Shriner.

Mr. Howard is survived by his wife, Rebecca Howard of Willis; two sons, 
Dwight Howard Jr. of Willis and Samuel Howard of Willis; one daughter, 
Luci Howard Burns and husband, Darren of Galveston; one sister, Rita 
Howard Moon of Pritchett; three stepchildren, Rachel Martin of Willis, 
Kenneth Ford of Houston and Brandon Ford of Willis; one grandchild, 
Lauren Burns of Galveston; and several aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. this evening, June 6, 2007.
