Patsy L. Hearn 
(August 2, 1944 - May 6, 2014) 

Graveside services for Mrs. Pat L. Hearn, 69, of Gilmer will be held 
at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, May 8, 2014, at Hopewell Cemetery under the 
direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. The family will receive 
friends on Wednesday, May 7, at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00 
p.m.

Mrs. Hearn was born on August 2, 1944, in Tyler, Texas to I. B. and 
Donie Kirk Carter, and passed away on Tuesday, May 06, 2014, in Gilmer. 

In 1975, she married Thurman Hearn in Arlington, Texas, was a self 
employed beautician and a member of the Eastern Star.

Mrs. Hearn is survived by her husband, Thurman Hearn of Gilmer; sons, 
Dale Ray Fisher and wife, Liz of Van, Thurman S. Hearn of Beaumont; 
daughters, Beverly Hamilton of Gilmer, Donna Specht and husband, Gene 
of Quitman, Paula Burgi and husband, Harvey of Crowley, Faye Hall and 
husband, Charlie of Colleyville, Gay Mazey of Allen and Frankie Carter 
of Canton; sisters, Hazel Green of Lindale, Jeanie Simmons of Commerce; 
12 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Linda Patterson; 
brother, I. B. Carter, Jr.; sisters, Helen Miller, Bobbie Ruth 
Bullington and Bonnie Jean Long.
