Graveside services for Mrs. Kathryn Annette Johnson Hill, 59, of Gilmer will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, August 8, 2015, at Sunset Memorial Park. Annette passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 in Gilmer. No formal visitation will be held.

Kathryn Annette Johnson Hill was born in Naples, Texas in 1956 to Bobby and Peggy Talley Johnson. She was affectionately known to friends and family as “Moochie”. She later moved to Gilmer, Texas to manage Vinyards Grocery Store where she met Neal Hill.

Annette described the meeting and falling in love with Neal as the moment she started living. They later had a son, Bobby Ace Hill, born with Spinal Bifida. He preceded her in death on February 15, 2002.

She was a very devoted wife and mother and loved Neal and Bobby more than anything in the world. She lost her beloved, Neal in 2009. We can all rest easy now knowing that Annette is right where her heart has always been—in the arms “men”.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, Bobby and Peggy Johnson and mother-in-law, Lillian Irene Hill.

Annette is survived by her stepson and his wife, Neal and Lizy Hill of Laredo, TX; four grandchildren, Chris, Austin, Katherine and Skyler; two brothers, Harold and Mike Johnson of Omaha; brother–in-law and sister-in-law, Don and Brenda Hill of Gilmer and many nieces and nephews
