GILMER - Funeral services for Sarah Marie Hill, 18, of Diana, will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, January 13, 2009, at The Church of Jesus of Christ of Latter-day Saints, with Bishop Dean Fowler officiating. Interment will be in Kelsey Cemetery in Upshur County. Arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Gilmer. Miss Hill passed away Thursday, January 8, 2009, in Longview.

Miss Hill was born in Longview, Texas, on March 27, 1990, to Kurt and Tamra Kay Hill. She was employed as a waitress with Applebee's and was a member of the 3rd Ward in Gilmer of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Survivors include her parents, Kurt and Tammy Hill of Diana; brother, Curt Hill of Diana; sister and brother-in-law, Nikki and Josh Sims of Diana; paternal grandmother, Donna Marie Hill of Mesa, Arizona; maternal grandfather and spouse, Jerry and "Grandma" Judy Dixon of Gilmer; niece, Allie Sims; and nephew, Kaden Sims.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Calvin Hill; grandmother, Kay Dixon; and maternal great-grandparent, Emmons and Oni Bryant.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Coulter Jr., D.J. Stanley Jr., Colby Nutt, William Starks, Jordan Boyd, Justin Miller, Brandon Miller and Richard Starks.
