Funeral services for Pattie L. Hodges, 75, of Longview, will be 2 p.m. 
Wednesday, January 2, 2008, at the chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview,
with the Revs. Tom Roberson and Dave Lawson officiating.Burial will be in 
Rosewood Park. She passed away Saturday, December 29, 2007, at a Longview 
hospital, surrounded by family and friends.

Visitation will be 3-5 p.m. Tuesday, January 1, 2008, at the funeral home.


Mrs. Hodges was born February 23, 1932, in Jenks, Oklahoma, to Paul and 
Juanita Bizzell, and was a longtime resident of Longview. She was raised in 
Kilgore and was a 1951 graduate of Kilgore High School, where she was a 
majorette in the high school band. She attended Kilgore College and was a 
Kilgore Rangerette.

She was a former resident of Dallas and Midland. In Midland, she volunteered 
for Meals on Wheels and founded the "I Can Cope Society," and later was 
associated with the society in Longview. She volunteered for the Good 
Shepherd Medical Center Auxiliary. When her children were young, she was
