Marjory Hymer 
(September 23, 1920 - October 4, 2014) 

Funeral services for Marjory Hymer, 94, of Reklaw will be 2:00 
p.m., Monday, October 6, 2014, at Rosewood Baptist Church in 
Upshur County with Bro. Charles Johnson officiating. Interment 
will be in Rosewood Cemetery. Arrangements are under the 
direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Mrs. Hymer passed 
away Saturday, October 4, 2014 in Reklaw.

Mrs. Hymer was born September 23, 1920 in Monroe, LA, to 
Pennick and Pearl Zeagler Roberts. She was a retired secretary 
with the Social Security Office in Gregg County, had lived in 
Reklaw for eight years and was a member of the First Baptist 
Church in Rusk.

She is survived by her daughter, Charlotte Denson and her 
husband, William of Reklaw; brother, Henry Roberts of San 
Antonio; grandchildren, Mike Denson and wife, Janet of Ponta, 
and Chery Luna and husband, Bryan of Reklaw; five great-
grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Hymer was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rex 
Hymer; three sisters; five brothers; and one great-great-
grandchild.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 1:00 p.m. 
to 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 6, 2014 at Rosewood Baptist 
Church.
