GLADEWATER -- Services for Darryl Jackson, 33, of Longview, formerly of 
Gladewater, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, October 21, 2006, at St. James 
Baptist Church in the Red Rock Community of Gladewater. Burial will 
follow in Red Rock Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements are by Dearion & Davis 
Funeral Parlor. Mr. Jackson was born August 12, 1973, in Gladewater, and 
he died October 18, 2006, in Longview. Survivors include his wife, Catina 
Jackson; son, Denzel Jackson; and daughter, Jay'La Jackson. Visitation 
will be noon-7:30 p.m. Friday, October 20, 2006, at the funeral parlor.

formerly of Gladewater, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, October 21, 2006, at St. 
James Baptist Church in the Red Rock Community of Gladewater. Burial will 
follow in Red Rock Memorial Cemetery. Dearion & Davis Funeral Parlor is in 
charge of the arrangements. The Rev. Jackson was born August 12, 1973, in 
Gladewater. He passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2006, at Good Shepherd 
Hospital in Longview. He was an outstanding student at Gladewater High 
School. Darryl was employed with the Gregg County Sheriff Department in 
Longview. Survivors include his wife, Catina Elder Jackson; son, Denzel 
Jackson; daughter, Jay'La Jackson; mother, Vivian Jackson; father and 
mother-in-law, J.L. and Sarah Elder; sister, Dionne Jackson; brother, 
Kevin Gipson; and aunts and uncles. The Gregg County Sheriff Department 
will be active pallbearers for the services. The family will receive 
friends from noon-7 p.m. Friday evening, October 20, 2006, at the funeral 
parlor.
