Jackson, Raymond Edmond GILMER -- Services for Raymond Edmond Jackson, 65, of Gilmer, will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 30, 2006, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Gregory Robison officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park of Gilmer. Mr. Jackson passed away Sunday, August 27, 2006, in Tyler. Mr. Jackson was born March 22, 1941, in Avinger, to Mancil Holeman and Lois Irene Dunbar Jackson. In 1961, he married Carla Carpenter in Palestine. He served in the United States Air Force, and was an oil and gas distributor. He is survived by his wife, Carla Jackson of Gilmer; mother, Lois Irene Jenkins of Athens; daughters and sons-in-law, Diana and Philip Quinn, Susie and John Bullock of Gilmer, and Paula and Greg Robison of Grandbury; son and daughter-in-law, Bryan and Julie Jackson of Gilmer; brother, Elvis Jackson of Chandler; two sisters, Anne Cooper of Canton, and Wanda Wilson of Longview; and six grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Louie English, James Patterson, Jerry Farmer, Bobby Johnson, Billy Davis, B.J. Blackmon, Bob Peddy, and Jerry Cromer. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Loyd, R.D.
