GLADEWATER - Graveside services for Lois Marie Bowen Jarvis, 79, of Big Sandy, will be held 
at 3 p.m. today, August 8, 2007, at Hoover Cemetery in Upshur County, with the Reverend Rex 
Nolan officiating, under the direction of Croley Funeral Home of Gladewater.

Mrs. Jarvis died Sunday, August 5, 2007, in Big Sandy.

She was born January 12, 1928, in Lee County, to Quintus Lee and Cleo Thompson Watson. Mrs. 
Jarvis was a homemaker, a member of O.E.S. in Longview and loved doing crafts and gardening.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Sherry Bowen of Big Sandy, 
Glenn and Dena Bowen of Big Sandy, Quintus Ray Williams and Cathy Denny of Hallsville, and 
Charles and Nevita Williams of Big Sandy; daughters and sons-in-law, Pat and Morgan Williams 
of Harleton, and Judy Williams and Lloyd Addington Jr. of Gladewater; brother and sister-in-
law, Douglas Henry and Barbara Watson of Giddings; three nieces; two nephews; and 
grandchildren, Katie and Cory Moses, Morgan Williams, Angela and Clint Jones, Jeff and Erica 
Williams, Jennifer and Troy Barker, Chris and Tresia Williams, Matthew Williams, Daniel Aaron 
Bowen, Laurie and Michael Jacobs, Melinda Lowery, Joseph David Roper, Becky Roper and Amanda 
Roper. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren: Chase, Morgan and Hunter Jones; 
Wensday Marie Williams; Kassidy Belle Barker; Cade Connor William Barker; Kane Samuel; Caron 
Kincaid; Jeremiah Williams; Madison Jo Jacobs; and Cadence Noel Moses.

Honorary pallbearers will be Scott McKenzie, Jay Sims, Joe Murphy, John Smith, Dr. Joe 
Prudhomme, Grady Grabbs, Mike Grabbs, Phil Higginbotham, Larry Haselhorst and D.J. Winn.

The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday evening, August 7, 2007, at Croley Funeral 
Home of Gladewater.
