Myrtie Johnson went to be with the Lord June 24 at her home in Livingston. 
 
She was born July 04, 1919 in Kelsey, Upshur Co., Texas to Hughey Ennis and Nora Frances Moore Nation.  She married 
Charlie Johnson on Oct. 16, 1934 in Gilmer,Upshur Co., Texas of this union there were ten children born.. She was a housewife 
and she was a christian all her life.  
 
She is survived by daughters; Clarsie Dee Tips, Charlene Renfro of Livingston, Lacy Isham of Leonard,Tx. and Frances Ann 
Ellis of Longview.
 
Sons; D.C. Johnson of Livingston, J.D. Johnson, Emery "Chubby" Johnson and Ronnie "Runt" Johnson All of Leggett, Tex.; also 
survivling are 55 grand children, 67 great grand children and 15 great-great grand children.
 
She was preceded in death by her husband Charlie Johnson (1909-1998 Morris Cem.) and two sons; Donnie Joseph Johnson 
(1948-1954 Morris Cem.) and Freddie Lee Johnson (1937-2007 Magnolia Cem.Polk Co.)
 
Funeral services were held at Cochrans Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston with Rev. Joseph Clay Officiating.
 
Visitation was held Friday June 25, 2010 at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel .
 
Grandson served as pallbearers who were; Marcus Louque, Joe Neal McCandless, Donnie Joe Eaton,Dustin "Dusty" Johnson, 
Matthew Johnson and Tommie Lee Johnson.
 
Interment was Sunday June 27, 2010 at Morris Cemetery, Upshur Co.,Texas with Raymond Harrington officiating.
