Johnson, Rev. Carl Don

JEFFERSON - Services for the Rev. Carl Don Johnson, of San Diego, Calif., will be at noon 
Saturday, September 8, 2007, at Jefferson Junior High School Auditorium, with Dr. Winston 
McOwan officiating. Burial will be in Houston Cemetery of Diana. Arrangements are by Lewis 
& Walker Funeral Home. The Rev. Johnson died August 30, 2007, in Pittsburg.

Born November 7, 1940, he was the longtime pastor of St. Paul United Methodist Church. 
Survivors include his wife, Dr. W. Yvonne Johnson; daughters, Sandra Glover and Carol 
Daniel; brothers, LeRoy Hawkins, Doug Hawkins and Timothy; and sisters, Lou Jane Lindly, 
Dorothy Walton, Elmarie Pepper and Mattie Linewood. Visitation will be from 7-8 p.m. today 
at St. Paul United Methodist Church.
