GLADEWATER MEMORIAL PARK - UPSHUR COUNTY Angela Harris Jones was the great-granddaughter of Jack H. Estes who was on the board of directors and a former circulation manager for The Dallas Morning News. Angela was born in Dallas, TX on October 4, 1971 to Robert Jack Harris, Sr. of Dallas and Charlotte Melton Harris of McKenzie, Tennessee. She graduated from L.V. Berkner High School in Richardson in May 1990. Angela graduated in 1997 from Wade College, Dallas, TX with an Associate of Art degree in Merchandising and Design. In 2005 she graduated from Dallas Christian College with a Bachelor of Science in Leadership and Ministry. She was currently finishing a Masters Degree in Christian Counseling from Dallas Baptist University. She worked as an account executive and showroom manager for the Klein Group in Dallas from 1996 to 1999. From 1999 to 2002 she became an account executive and showroom manager for Esprit de Corp. In 2002 she was an executive assistant and customer relations specialist for Bob Denton with Ermenegildo Zegna until 2008. In 2009 she began working alongside her father in their business, Accuracy Backflow. Angie was a gifted musician, vocalist, devoted mother and daughter. She was an active member of Freedom Life Church in Carrollton, serving in the church choir and drama productions. During Angie's five week battle with leiomyosarcoma, she wrote, "My song today is, Say The Name." My favorite verse in this song is, "When you can't find the words to say and when you don't know what else to pray, when you can't make it one more day, say the name of Jesus." She is survived by her daughters Hayley Morgan McKinney and Lilian Margaret Jones, her father and mother Robert Jack Harris, Sr. and Paula of Athens, TX, her sister Kim Dumaine Banuelos and husband Carlos of Allen, TX, her two brothers Robert Jack Harris, Jr. and wife Kim of Crestview, Florida and Jonathan Jim Harris of Dallas, grandfather Myer I Harris, Jr. and wife Marilyn of Dallas, her fiancé Hugh Frederick Anderson II and his children Katherine and Trey Anderson of Dallas, and a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded 38 years ago in death by her birth mother Charlotte Melton Harris. Visitation and viewing was from 3:00 - 5:00 PM Sunday, June 17, 2012 at Allen Family Funeral Options in Plano. Funeral services for Angie were held at 10:00 AM on Monday, June 18, 2012 at Freedom Life Church, 2435 East Hebron Parkway Carrollton, TX with Pastor Everette Pafford officiating. The burial was 3:00 PM in Gladewater Memorial Park, Gladewater, TX with Ron Peacock officiating.
