GILMER - Services for Mr. Kenneth Dearl "Buck" Jones, 76, of Gilmer, will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 14, 2010, at Gilmer Apostolic Church with Bro. Eddie Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Gilmer, under the direction of Croley Funeral Home. Mr. Jones passed away on Sunday, April 11, 2010, in Gilmer. 

He was born June 21, 1933, in Columbia, Louisiana, to Kinzy William Jones and Mary Ann Smith Jones. On January 10, 1953, he married Shirley Rae Davis in Upland, California, and moved to Gilmer, in 1972. Mr. Jones was a painter and a member of the Gilmer Apostolic Church. 

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Jones of Gilmer; children, Wilmyth Diaz and her husband Frank, Darrell Jones and wife Tammy, Wayne Jones and wife Sandra, Casey Jones and girlfriend Melanie, Buck Jones and girlfriend Liz, Rae Nell Allen and boyfriend Kevin, and Richard Jones and wife Christina; brothers, Leroy Jones, Eddie Jones and Gary Jones; sisters, Mary Bailey, Betty Watson, Shirley Watson and Joan Anthony; 25 grandchildren; and 42 great-grandchildren. 

Pallbearers will be Darrell Jones, Wayne Jones, Casey Jones, Buck Jones, Richard Jones and Frank Diaz. 

Visitation will be at Gilmer Apostolic Church , today, April 13, 2010, from 6-8 p.m. 

The family would like to give a special thanks to Gilmer Care Center Staff, ETMC-Gilmer and Kristina Johnson, R.N. from Heart to Heart Hospice of Tyler, for the special care and love given to our father and grandfather.
