GLADEWATER MEMORIAL PARK - UPSHUR COUNTY


Services for Emogene Winn King, 75, of Winona will be on Saturday, June 15, 2013, at 1 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church with Bro. Scotty Fife officiating. Burial will be in Gladewater Memorial Park.

Born on March 17, 1938, in Shreveport, La., she entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, June 12, 2013.

A graduate of White Oak High School, she received her bachelor's degree from North Texas University and her master's degree from The University of Texas at Tyler.

She was an accounting instructor at Tyler Junior College for 35 years and a member of Friendship Baptist Church.

She is survived by son, Winn King, of Gladewater; daughter and son-in-law, Emily and Milton Anderson, of Gladewater; seven grandchildren, Chris King, James Carl King, Kayli Williams, Jared King, Wendy Williams, Kyle King and Katy King; and two great-grandchildren, Hailee King and Connor King.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Emma Winn; and two sisters.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, June 14, 2013, at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater.
