LaFerney, Zeda Fern GLADEWATER - Services for Zeda Fern LaFerney, 67, of Gilmer, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 31, 2007, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gladewater, with Brother Earl W. Duggins, Brother Ronnie Starr and Brother Ross Worley officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery of Gladewater. She was born June 6, 1939, in Grand Junction, Colorado, to J.C. and Pearl Davis Willoughby, and she died Saturday, May 26, 2007, in Cortez, Colorado. She married Othell LaFerney on December 8, 1956, in Gladewater. Mrs. LaFerney was a member of Faith Baptist Church and a retired billing specialist for U.T. Health Center. Mrs. LaFerney is survived by her husband, the Reverend Othell LaFerney of Gilmer; mother, Pearl Willoughby of Tyler; son, Kevin LaFerney of Gilmer; daughter-in-law, Melanie McWhorter of Flower Mound; daughters and sons-in-law, Denise and Keith Weaver of Dove Creek, Colorado, Tammy and Tommy Harden of Arp and Sonya Nolan of Mobile, Alabama; son-in-law, Doug Nolan of Winona; sisters, Beverly King of Tyler and Juanita Miller of Lakeland, Florida; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Chris King, Andy King, Darrell Warren, Michael Golden, Stephen Nolan and Luke Long.
