"O.B." Oliver Bateman Lambert 
(December 2, 1940 - September 27, 2014) 

U.S. Veteran
Graveside services for Oliver Bateman Lambert, 73, of Gladewater, 
Texas, will be at Hoover Cemetery on October 1, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. 
with Richard Pruitt officiating. O.B. passed at his home on 
Saturday, September 27, 2014.

O.B. Lambert was born in Lexington, Oklahoma to Stuart B. and 
Lena Wagonseller Lambert on December 2, 1940. He was a veteran of 
the U.S. Navy, having served from March 1963 to April 1967 in 
Vietnam. He was an Air Crew Leader for sea and air rescue. He 
retired as a General Inspector at Rexam Container after 39 years. 
O.B. was passionate about fishing since his childhood days and he 
enjoyed days on the lake with his children and grandchildren.

Mr. Lambert is survived by his loving wife, Judy Quinton Lambert; 
sons, Jesse Lambert, Eric Lambert and wife Stephanie; daughters, 
Janet Teodorczyk and husband, Thomas, Jenifer Boyce and husband 
Chuck, Joanne Smith and husband Roger; grandchildren, Ashley 
Lambert, Chase Lambert, Scott Lambert, Christian Lambert, Austin 
Teodorczyk, Travis Teodorczyk, Tristan Boyce, Robert Smith, Caci 
Smith and Dakota Smith. He is also survived by a sister Mary 
O’Connor.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Stuart and Lena Lambert 
and brother, Jerry R. Lambert.

No visitation is scheduled.
