Lindsey, Sammie M. 

GILMER -- Services for Sammie M. Lindsey, 59, of Gilmer, will be held 10 a.m. 
Thursday, May 18, 2006, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer, with the Reverend 
Grady McDonald and the Reverend Gary Huggins officiating. Burial will follow in 
Perryville Cemetery of Upshur County. Mr. Lindsey passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2006, 
in Gilmer. Mr. Lindsey was born January 11, 1947, in the Perryville Community, to 
Merce and Jo Shirley Lindsey. He was a selmployed logger and a Baptist. Mr. Lindsey 
is survived by his wife, Kathy Lindsey of Gilmer; mother, Jo Lindsey of the 
Perryville Community; son, Matthew Lindsey of Gilmer; daughter and son-in-law, Misti 
and Eric Mills of Natchitoches, La.; brother and sister-in-law, Buck and Betty Lindsey 
of Longview; sister, Shirley Glasscock of Mesquite; grandchildren, Elizabeth and 
Alaina Mills; and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Keith McMullen, 
Bill Shirley, George Shirley, Mike Dixon, Lindley Huggins, and Justin Donoho. Honorary 
pallbearers will be Larry Reynolds, Jody Ogilivie, Don Maines, Don Pennington, Larry 
Dorsett, Bobby McMullen, and Francis Reed. Memorials may be made to Heart'sWay Hospice, 
1306 Pine Tree Rd., Longview, TX 75604. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday evening, 
May 17, 2006, at the funeral home.
