Lopees, Donald   
	
GILMER -- No services will be held for Donald Lopees, 86, 
of East Mountain. Cremation arrangements are by Turner Bros. 
Mortuary. Mr. Lopees was born August 30, 1920, in St. 
Catherines, Ontario, Canada, and he passed away October 1, 
2006, in Tyler. He was a member of Longview Tennis 
Association and an avid tennis player and bowler. Mr. Lopees 
did not have children, but he was a friend to children 
everywhere. Mr. Lopees served in the Canadian Air Force in 
England during World War II. He was preceded in death by his 
parents, Reatta and Doreto Lopees; and brothers, Fred, Lorne, 
and Johnny. Mr. Lopees is survived by his nieces, Jane and 
Bill Holman of East Mountain, and Cathi and John Kennedy of 
Tustin, Calif.; great-nieces, Karen Neumayer of Tustin, Calif., 
and Robin Cook of Seattle, Wash.; and great-nephew, Andrew 
Neumayer of Tustin, Calif.
