Loyd, Alan   	

GILMER - Services for Alan Loyd, 56, of Gilmer, will be held at 2 p.m. 
Wednesday, May 2, 2007, at First United Methodist Church in Gilmer, 
with the Reverend Ken Calhoun and Dr. David Jenkins officiating. Burial 
will follow in Sunset Memorial Park of Gilmer.

Mr. Loyd died Sunday, April 29, 2007, in McKinney.

He was born November 7, 1950, in Gilmer, to William Armstrong and Mattie 
Mae Stephens Loyd. Mr. Loyd married Deborah Stewart on August 4, 1973, 
in Gilmer. He was a teacher at Gilmer ISD and a member of Gilmer First 
United Methodist Church.

Mr. Loyd is survived by his wife, Debbie Loyd of Gilmer; son, Aaron Loyd 
of Dallas; daughters and son-in-law, Alanna and Justin Hodges of McKinney, 
and Kimberly Loyd of Dallas; brother, Larry Loyd of Gilmer; sister, Linda 
Davidson of Gilmer; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Kenneth and Cosette 
Stewart of Gilmer; and two grandchildren, Madeline and Landon Hodges.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. this evening, May 1, 2007, at Croley 
Funeral Home of Gilmer.
