Paula M. Lujan 
(March 2, 1923 - September 30, 2014) 

Services for Paula M. Lujan, 91, of Gilmer, Texas will be 
Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Mark 
Dunne officiating. Interment will follow at West Mountain 
Cemetery in Upshur County. Paula passed away on Tuesday, 
September 30, 2014 in Longview, Texas. Services are under 
the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater, Texas. 

Paula LuJan was born in Cuchillo Parado Chihuahua, Mexico 
to Guillermo Mata Castneda and Marina Flores Padilla on 
March 2nd, 1923. She was married to Jesus Lujan Giner and 
was a resident of Gilmer for 14 years. 

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Hipolito 
Lujan and wife Juana Carrasco; daughters and sons-in-law: 
Marina Lujan Mata and Victoriano Cruz Garcia, Maria Dye, 
Monica Garcia and Raul Garcia, Maria del Rosario Lujan 
Mata and Victor Parra, Maria Elva Lujan Mata and Xavier 
Reyes, Maria Dolores Lujan Mata and Jose Mendoza, Ana 
Maria Lujan Mata and Lionso Leyva; brothers: Ismael Mata 
Flores and Demetrio Mata Flores; sister, Maria de la Luz 
Mata Flores; 33 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren 
with 2 great-great grandchildren.

Paula is preceded in death by her parents; son, Tomas 
Lujan Mata; brother, Tomas Mata Flores; sisters: Josefina 
Mata Flores, Manuela Mata Flores, Eufemia Mata Flores, 
Antonia Mata Flores and Refugio Mata Flores.

Pallbearers will be Antonio Munoz, David A Garcia, Leonardo 
Garcia, Gabriel Servin, Victoriano Cruz and Hipolito Lujan 
Mata.

The family of Mrs. Lujan would like to express their 
gratitude to the staff of Good Shepherd Medical Center for 
the excellent care and compassion they gave. Paula had 
stated to her loved ones how much she treasured their 
tenderness and that she would carry them all in her heart.
