GLADEWATER MEMORIAL PARK - UPSHUR COUNTY


Clement W. “ Bo” Lovett, 85, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, died July 19 at Cheyenne Health Care.

Mr. Lovett was born in Trinity County, Texas, on Oct. 13, 1926, the son of Earl and Jessie Edell (Warren) Lovett. 

After serving in the U.S. Army during World War II, he married Francis Faye Dodd in Tomball, Texas. He then went to work for Humble Oil Company in New Mexico as a gauger , later transferring to Katy, Texas, where he worked as an equipment operator in the oil fields. Later, he was promoted to a senior operator working in Gladewater, Texas, where he retired in 1985.

Mr. Lovett is survived by a son, David Lovett of Cheyenne; one brother, Lynn Ross Lovett of Tomball,Texas; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Frances; one son, John Earl Lovett; and one grandson.

Services and interment will be held in Gladewater,Texas under the direction of the Croley Funeral Home. Schrader Funeral Home in Cheyene is in charge of all local arrangements.
