Maberry, Lavina B.
   	
GILMER -- Services for Lavina B. Maberry, 95, of Marshall, will be held 
11 a.m. Friday, November 3, 2006, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel of Gilmer, 
with D.W. McClendon officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. 
Mrs. Maberry died Tuesday, October 31, 2006, in Jefferson, Texas. She was 
born September 29, 1911, in Upshur County, to Roy and Jackie Gee Mackey. Mrs. 
Maberry graduated from Gladewater High School, and she attended Abilene 
Christian College. She was a homemaker and a member of Eastern Hills Church of 
Christ in Marshall. She was preceded in death by her husband, Merkil Maberry 
in 1986; and one grandson, Kerry Barber in 2003. Mrs. Maberry is survived by 
one son, Bill Maberry of Shreveport, La.; one daughter, LaWana Woods of Marshall; 
two sisters, Polly Martin of Longview, Bette Holloway of Pritchett; five 
grandchildren, Leigh Ann Loyd, Kay Lynn Summer, Roy Woods, Paul Harris, and Kerry 
Beth Woods; and nine great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Monty Lloyd, Yancey 
Sumner, Paul Harris, Austin Sumner, Adam Bisgard, and Paul Jones. Visitation will 
be held from 10-11 a.m., prior to services, Friday, November 3, 2006.
