Meadows, J.W. "Bubba" 


GILMER -- Services for J.W. "Bubba" Meadows, 80, of Ore City, will be 2 p.m. Monday, July 10, 2006, at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer. Interment will be in Coffeeville Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Gilmer. Mr. Meadows passed away Friday, July 7, 2006, in Daingerfield. Mr. Meadows was born September 25, 1925, in Marietta, to James Martin and Martha Kate Meadows. He was a past commissioner for Upshur County and a member of Cedar Springs Baptist Church. Mr. Meadows was preceded in death by his parents, James Martin and Martha Kate Meadows. Mr. Meadows is survived by his wife, Martha Meadows of Ore City; daughters, Gail Livingston of Lone Star, Vicki Hall of Hughes Springs, Debra Copeland of Ore City, and Lennie Minor of Red Hill; special son, Johnny Fenlaw of Ore City; sister, Mary Croft of Hallsville; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Alzheimer's Foundation or the charity of your choice. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Sunday evening, July 9, 2006, at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Gilmer.
