Marsh, Thomas E. GILMER - Graveside services for Thomas E. Marsh, 69,of Big Sandy, will be 2 p.m. today, July 29, 2007, at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Mr. Marsh died Thursday, July 26, 2007, in Gladewater. He was born March 10, 1938, in Upshur County, to Dencil and Geraldine Henson Marsh. Mr. Marsh attended Gladewater High School and lived most of his life in Pritchett. He served in the U.S. Army Seventh Armored Division while stationed in Germany. Mr. Marsh had various jobs on highway construction and as a truck driver. He was a member of Pritchett Church of Christ, the Masons, V.F.W. and the Shriners. Mr. Marsh loved spending time driving Heather and Heath to and from school and school-related functions. Mr. Marsh was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his brothers, Dencil Marsh of Longview and Freddie Marsh of Denton; niece and her husband, primary care givers, Ron and Dornell Marsh; great-niece and great- nephew, Heather and Heath Marsh; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family received friends 6-8 p.m. Saturday, July 28, 2007, at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
