McLendon, B.L.  
 	
GILMER -- Graveside services for B.L. McLendon, 75, of Gilmer, 
will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 19, 2006, at Sand Hill Cemetery 
in Upshur County, with Bro. Bryan Johnson officiating. 
Arrangements are by Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Gilmer. Mr. 
McLendon died December 16, 2006, at his residence. Born December 
25, 1930, in Gilmer, he was a retired heavy-duty mechanic, member 
of San Hill Baptist Church and lifelong resident of Upshur County. 
Survivors include his son, Michael McLendon; daughter, Sheila 
McLendon; and sisters, Martha McBride and Janice Cox. Visitation 
will be 6:30-8 p.m. today, December 18, 2006, at the funeral home.
