In memoriam of Mae D Morris, 05/14/1911 - 09/22/2008 

Funeral services for Mae D. Morris, 97, of Fort Worth, formerly of Gilmer,
will be at 12:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 27, 2008 at St. Paul's Baptist
Church in Ore City with Rev. Johnny Brown officiating. Burial will be at New
Mountain Cemetery under the direction on Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, Inc. 
Mrs. Morris was born May 14, 1911 in Gilmer to Tobe and Clonie Carter and
was called home to be with her Lord on Monday, September 22, 2008. 

She was member of Paradise Baptist Church, in the Paradise community of
Gilmer, TX. 

She leaves to cherish her memories four grandsons Donald (Nelma) Morris,
Daniel Morris, Kenneth Morris and Willie Morris all of Fort Worth; two
granddaughters Loretha (Johnny) Avery and Mariann Harper both of Fort Worth;
one nephew whom she raised as her son Vernon Freeman of Dallas; one sister
Ella Brown of Gilmer; 35 great grandchildren and 34 great-great
grandchildren. 
She will lie in state Friday, September 26, afternoon and evening and the
family will receive friends from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
