GLADEWATER MEMORIAL PARK - UPSHUR COUNTY


GLADEWATER - Services for Joe McElroy, 85, of Gladewater, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 26, 2008, at New Life Church, with Brother Bill Teague and Brother Bruce Teague officiating. 

Burial will be in Gladewater Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Croley Funeral Home of Gladewater. Mr. McElroy died June 24, 2008.

Born May 22, 1923, in Denton, he was a retired banker, having worked at White Oak State Bank and Gladewater National Bank. 

Survivors include his wife, Wanda McElroy; son, Larry Kent McElroy; daughter, Monte Kay Brooks; and sister, Elynor Rae Watson.
