UPSHUR COUNTY - GLADEWATER MEMORIAL PARK


Graveside services for Sarah Meadows McRaney, 84, of Liberty City will be Friday, October 7, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Gladewater Memorial Park with Reverend Wayne Eubanks officiating. 

Mrs. McRaney passed away on Monday, October 3, 2016 in Kilgore.  Sarah was born January 13, 1932 in Roaring Springs, Texas to the late John Carroll Meadows and Altha Rocelia Manning. 

Mrs. McRaney worked as a Seamstress for many years at Gilmer Manufacturing before finally retiring from Skeeter Boats. Sarah was a longtime active member of the First Baptist Church of Liberty City; where she was involved with numerous committees. Mrs. McRaney was an avid gardener and loved working outside. She was a loving and devoted mother and homemaker. Sarah will be truly missed by all the loving family and friends she leaves behind.

She is survived by two children Diane White of Liberty City and Darel McRaney of Wilmer, Texas; brother Clayton Meadows of Abilene, Texas as well as many other loving family and friends.
