(May 18, 1928 - January 16, 2015) 

Services for Jeryl L. Monasco, 86, of Gilmer, will be 2 PM Friday, January 23, 2015, at Gilmer Church of the Nazarene with Reverend Jim Wolstenholm officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. 

Visitation will be 6 PM to 8 PM Thursday, January 22, at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home. Mr. Monasco passed away Friday, January 16, in Gilmer.

Jeryl was born May 5, 1928, in Greenville, Texas, to Johnny L. and Florence Monasco. He was a retired commercial Printer having owned American Printing.

Mr. Monasco was preceded in death by his wives: Delores Monasco, Gladys Downs; sons: Jeryl Wayne and Glen Ray Monasco; and a sister: Sue Swaim.

He is survived by two sons: Larry and Calvin Monasco; daughter and son-in-law: Oretha and Chuck Souder; brothers and sisters-in-law: Johnny Monasco, Melton and Dean Monasco, Troy Gene Monasco; sister: Jo Hall; 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren
