KELSEY CEMETERY - UPSHUR COUNTY Gilmer -- Services for Mary Ellen Muckleroy, 81, of Diana, will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2015, at 10 A.M. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with Bishop Jimmy Coulter conducting. Burial will be in Kelsey Cemetery. She was born on May 1, 1933, in Las Vegas, Nevada, to Albert Alonzo 'Bert' Lyman and Marguerite Marie Rice Lyman, and she passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, April 12, 2015. She was a homemaker and a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She married the love of her life, Charles Edward Muckleroy on February 1, 1958, in Las Vegas, Nevada. She is survived by her husband, Charles Edward Muckleroy; three daughters, Esther Marie Ramos, Dorothy May Badger, and Christina Lucile Wilhelm; five sons, Allen Martin Muckleroy, Stephen Alonzo Muckleroy, Robert George Muckleroy, Russell Lee Muckleroy, and Kevin Wayne Muckleroy; eighteen grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Gary Albert Muckleroy, and three grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Russell Lee Muckleroy, Brian Weston Muckleroy, Richard Allen Muckleroy, Joshua Trent Badger, Parker Owen Badger, and Robert George Muckleroy. Honorary pallbearer will be Kevin Wayne Muckleroy. The family would like to express appreciation to the staff of Upshur Manor Nursing Home and Legacy Hospice for their careful attention and compassionate care. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. on Friday, April 17, 2015, at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Gilmer.
