GLADEWATER MEMORIAL PARK - UPSHUR COUNTY


GLADEWATER - Family graveside services for Peggy Jean Strawn Muraco, 84, Gladewater, formerly of Cleveland, Ohio, were held Monday at Gladewater Memorial Park with Larry W. Osborne officiating. Arrangements were under direction of Croley Funeral Home, Gladewater.

She was a retired bank teller and a member of the Church of Christ. 

She was a champion chess player and won many chess tournments.

She is survived by one sister, Wanda June Gelvin of Gladewater; seven nieces; and six nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Muraco; brother, Jimmy Strawn; and sister, Betty Chronister
