Nelson, Joshwa Kyle

Memorial services for Joshwa Kyle Nelson, 18, of Gilmer, will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, September 2, 
2007, at the First Baptist Church in Gilmer. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of 
Rader Funeral Home of Longview.

Joshwa passed away Thursday afternoon, August 30, 2007, at a hospital in Dallas.

Joshwa was born January 23, 1989, in Longview, Texas, to Monty and Trena Nelson. He was a 2007 
graduate of Gilmer High School and was enrolled at Stephen F. Austin State University. He 
accepted Christ as his Savior at the age of 12 and soon made his faith the most important thing 
in his life. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Gilmer and loved being there every time 
the doors were open.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Trena Fischer; and grandfather, Mervel Nelson.

Survivors include his father, Monty Nelson; sister and brother-in-law, Natasha and T.J. Brown; 
niece and nephew, KamRyn and Keyanna Brown; grandparents, Gail Nelson, and Richard and Margie 
Fischer; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends and loved ones.
