GILMER CITY CEMETERY - UPSHUR COUNTY

Lois Ann O'Connor 
(August 11, 1934 - October 15, 2014) 

Graveside services for Lois Ann O'Connor, 80, of Gilmer, 
affectionately known as "Mrs. O.," will be held on Friday, 
October 17, 2014, at 2 P.M. at the Gilmer City Cemetery 
with Brother Charles Johnson officiating. Arrangements are 
under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Gilmer.

Born on August 11, 1934, in Kilgore, Texas, to Spurgeon and 
Margret Williams, she died on Wednesday, October 15, 2014. 
She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church.

She is survived by her mother, Margret Williams of Bandera; 
son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Roxanne O'Connor of 
Gilmer; daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Kim Childress of 
Gilmer; four granddaughters, Summer Childress, Cheyanne 
O'Connor, Shelby O'Connor, and Kaley O'Connor, all of Gilmer; 
two great-grandchildren, Jaidyn O'Connor and Jett Hoang, both 
of Gilmer; two sisters, Sharon Yoakum and husband, Jessie, of 
Bandera, and Gay Nell Tate of Wichita Falls; and nephew, Jerry 
Lee Yoakum of Bandera

She was preceded in death by her father, Spurgeon Williams, 
and husband, Walter O'Connor.

No visitation is scheduled.
