Pace, Dorothy Mae    

GILMER -- Services for Dorothy Mae Pace, 76, of Gilmer, will be 
10 a.m. Wednesday, July 26, 2006, at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home 
Chapel in Gilmer, with Dr. Joe Hocking, chaplain of Greater 
Hospice of Texas, and the Rev. G.A. Stanfield officiating. 
Interment will be in Gladewater Memorial Park. Arrangements are 
under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Gilmer. Mrs. 
Pace passed away Monday, July 24, 2006, in Gilmer. Mrs. Pace was 
born October 18, 1929, in Edgewood, to Edgar and Alva Davis. She 
was a homemaker and a member of Sand Hill Baptist Church. Mrs. 
Pace is survived by her husband, Abe Pace of Gilmer; son and 
daughter-in-law, Doug and Tami Pace of Gilmer; daughter and 
son-in-law, Patsy and Chip Dickerson of Gilmer; brothers, Curtis 
Davis and James Davis, both of Mesquite; seven grandchildren; and 
two great-grandchildren. Visitation was held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday 
evening, July 25, 2006, at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Gilmer.
