Pace, Eugene 
  	
GILMER -- Services for Eugene Pace, 64, of Avinger, will 
be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, February 14, 2007, at Grubbs-Loyd 
Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer, with Grandol Forehand 
officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery of 
Gilmer. Arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd 
Funeral Home of Gilmer. Mr. Pace passed away on Sunday, 
February 11, 2007, in Avinger. Mr. Pace was born February 28, 
1942, in Tiptonville, Tennessee, to Marvin Eugene and Hazel 
Christine Clark Pace. He was a mechanic and a member of the 
Church of Christ in Mims Chapel. Mr. Pace was preceded in 
death by a son, David Clark Pace; his parents; and grandfather, 
"Big Daddy." Mr. Pace is survived by his wife, Faye Pace of 
Avinger; son, Marvin Pace of Avinger; daughter, Kathy Yeakley 
of Arlington; sister, Peggy Davis of Wartsburg, Tennessee; two 
grandchildren, Samuel Stanley Pace and Mallory Harris; and one 
great-granddaughter, Ivy Jade Bledsoe. Visitation will be from 
6-8 p.m. this evening, February 13, 2007, at Grubbs-Loyd 
Funeral Home in Gilmer.
