GILMER -- Services for Nora Pierson, 92, of Gilmer, will be 10 a.m. today, August 22, 2006, at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home of Gilmer, with Brother H.L. Whitfield and Apostle L. Childress officiating. Born September 16, 1913, in Dale, Ill., she died August 18, 2006, in Gilmer. Survivors include her daughters, Coleen Jackson and Waldine Doering.
