GILMER - Services for Shirlee "Candy" Patterson, 79, of Gilmer, will be 10 a.m. 
Saturday, December 15, 2007, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Wayne McKay 
and Bro. Paul Knight officiating. Mrs. Patterson passed away Tuesday, December 11, 
2007, in Gilmer. 

She was born January 20, 1928, in Modesto, California, to Morton Daniel and Pearl 
Harmon. Mrs. Patterson was a member of Oak Hill Missionary Baptist Church and 
worked at Dr. Taylor's office until her retirement. 

Mrs. Patterson is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Frederick and Darlene 
Nott of Sterling, Colorado, Daniel and Jodie Patterson of Gilmer and Dr. James C. 
Patterson II and his wife, Lois, of Shreveport, La.; daughter, Gretchen Patterson 
Tinker of Marshall; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Patterson Sr.; and daughter, 
Heidi Patterson. 

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today, December 14, 2007, at the funeral home.
