Ray, Mabel Johns   	

PITTSBURG - Services for Mabel Johns Ray, 88, of Pittsburg, will be at 2 p.m. 
Saturday, July 7, 2007, at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Pittsburg, Texas, 
with Brother Greg Miller and Brother Larry Davis officiating. Interment will be 
in Crossroads Cemetery of Camp County, Texas.

Mrs. Ray was born July 20, 1918, in Camp County, Texas, and she died Thursday, 
July 5, 2007, at Southern Wind Manor in Pittsburg, Texas.

She was a retired co-owner of a jewelry store and a member of Crossroads Baptist 
Church.

Mrs. Ray was preceded in death by her husband, Neal Ray, on April 27, 1980; 
parents, Lester B. and Maima Warrick Johns; and brother, Billie Johns.

Survivors include her sister-in-law, Mary Johns of Pittsburg, Texas; nephews, 
Jimmy and Barbara Johns and Johnny and Cheryl Johns, all of Houston; great-nieces, 
Leslie Sincler, Amanda and Katie Johns; and great-nephews, Chris Johns and Nathan 
Johns.

Pallbearers will be John Hart Efurd, George Hess, Jimmy Drennan, Joe Friday, 
Darrien Wooten, John Kaylor and Vernon Holcomb.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. this evening, July 6, 2007, at the 
funeral home.
