Reed, Billy Dale  
 	
GILMER -- Graveside services, with military rites, for Billy 
Dale Reed, 75, of Big Sandy, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, 
February 28, 2007, at Little Mound Cemetery in Upshur County, 
with Jim Crump officiating. Arrangements are under the 
direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Mr. Reed passed 
away Monday, February 26, 2007, in Gilmer. Mr. Reed was born 
December 8, 1931, in Tinsmen, Ark., to Milo and Georgia 
Hamilton Reed. He was an electrician and served in the U.S. 
Army from 1952-1954, during the Korean Conflict. He married 
Lillie Mae Elledge on March 25, 1960, in Humble, Texas. Mr. 
Reed was preceded in death by his parents; a son, James 
Michael Reed in 2002; and daughters, Stella Marie Reed in 
1967, and Georgia Mae Reed in 1962. Mr. Reed is survived by 
his wife, Lillie Mae Reed of Big Sandy; son, Billy D. Reed Jr. 
of Longview; daughter, Betty Craver of Gilmer; four brothers, 
Buddy Andrew Reed, William Lee Reed, Perry Leon Reed, and 
Thomas Wesley Reed; two sisters, Vickie Schaefer and Arlena 
Reed; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Visitation 
will be from 6-8 p.m. this evening, February 27, 2007, at 
Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
