Rogers, Louie Ray 


Graveside services for Louie Ray Rogers, 71, of Longview, will 
be 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 11, 2006, at Hopewell Cemetery in 
Gilmer, with the Rev. Randy Pitts officiating. Arrangements are 
by East Texas Funeral Home. Mr. Rogers died July 9, 2006, at 
local care facility. Born July 30, 1934, in Gilmer, he was a 
lifetime area resident, worked for the Longview Fire Department 
and later was a driver for several school systems. Survivors 
include his daughters, Teresa White and Louise Rogers-Keim; and 
sisters, Judy Sharp and Janie Richmond. Visitation will be 6-8 
p.m. today, July 10, 2006, at the funeral home.
