UPSHUR COUNTY - SUNSET MEMORIAL PARK


George Alford "Hope" Reese, 72, of Gilmer, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2016, in Longview, Texas. 

He was born May 14, 1943 in Nashville, AR, to Jack Ball and Oda Belle Gardener Reese. 

Hope was a member of Pine Acres Baptist Church in Gilmer, and retired from Interstate Battery.

Services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Gilmer. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. 

A visitation will be held from 6 PM to 8 PM, on Monday, May 2, 2016 at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home.
