SHADY GROVE

The Death Angel visited our community and claimed for its victims 
grandmother Wilson and grandfather Sansom. Both deaths occurred 
Friday night almost at the same hour ...................... 
Grandfather Sansom's remains were interred in Shady Grove cemetery 
Saturday eve at four o'clock. He is buried with the highest Masonic 
honors. A number of Mason's from Big Sandy attended the funeral.

[ This is James Layfayette Sansom, born 2 Jun 1832 in Walton Co., 
Georgia. He was a brother to the Confederate Heroine, Emma Sansom 
Johnson, buried at Little Mound.]
