Schoon, LeElnere M. KILGORE -- Graveside services for LeElnere M. Schoon, 95, of Ore City, will be 10 a.m. Monday, August 14, 2006, at Kilgore Cemetery, with the Rev. Dr. John Whitehurst officiating. Mrs. Schoon passed away Saturday in Gilmer. Mrs. Schoon was born September 21, 1910, in Macon, Ohio, daughter of Samuel W. Mitchell and Ora Lecta Vance, deceased. She was a loving and devoted homemaker. Mrs. Schoon loved to travel and had been all over the world. She enjoyed playing bridge, bunco and canasta. She was a member of Ore City United Methodist Church and Ore City Garden Club. Mrs. Schoon loved to be with friends and family and attended social events whenever possible. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Lynda Schoon of Longview; two grandchildren, Angela G. Vergera and husband, Zach, of Lewisville, and Eric Schoon and wife, Betina, of Longview; two great-granddaughters, Tia Vergera and Rebecca Nichole Schoon; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Geneva Page; and four brothers, Ralph Mitchell, Waldo Mitchell, Denver Mitchell and Sam Mitchell.
