Smith, Emmett 
GILMER -- Services for Emmett Smith, 58, of Gilmer, will be 1 p.m. Saturday, February 4, 2006, at Mount Zion Baptist Church, with the Rev. Huey C. Jones officiating. Burial will be in Coffeeville Cemetery. Arrangements are by Turner Bros. Mortuary. Mr. Smith died January 28, 2006, at a local nursing facility. Born September 26, 1947, in Daingerfield, he was a Baptist. Survivors include his brothers, O.T. Smith and Oscar Smith Jr.; and sisters, Hurline Miles, Levator Hatton, Callie B. Johnson, Ruthie Wright, and Ardine Waters. Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
