Steelman, Mrs E Doyle Gilmer Mirror, Dec. 19, 1957 Page 7 MRS. STEELMAN DIES FOLLOWING LENGTHY ILLNESS Mrs. E. Doyle Steelman of this city passed away last Friday, Dec. 13, at her residence after a lengthy illness. A native of this county, Mrs. Steelman was 51 years, 10 months and 13 days old. Born Estelline Gage, she married Doyle Steelman in 1925. To this union, 9 children five sons and four daughters, were born who, with 3 grandchildren and her husband, survive her. The sons are Billie Gene Steelman of Dallas; Clovis of DeRidder, La.; Jimmy of Shelton, Conn.; Kenneth and Steven of Gilmer. The four daughters are Mrs. Novell Green of Gilmer; Ann of Dallas and Norma Sue and Janice, both of Gilmer. She also is survived by her mother, Mrs. Annie Gage of Pritchett, and two brothers, Clifton and Kenny Gage of Pritchett. A member of the Church of Christ for 34 years, final rites for Mrs. Steelman were held at the Gilmer church Monday morning with H.H. Dickey and ??(torn) Holloway officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Croley Funeral Home was in charge.
