Shepperd, Mary Jean Watts   	

GILMER - Services for Mary Jean Watts Shepperd, 75, of Gilmer, will be held at 4 p.m. 
Saturday, September 15, 2007, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer, with Brother 
Donny Chamberlain officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park of Gilmer.

Mrs. Shepperd died Wednesday, September 12, 2007, in Tyler.

She was born April 5, 1932, in Redwater, to Monroe A. and Viola Jester Watts. She 
graduated from Atlanta High School in 1950 and attended Kilgore Junior College. She 
married Lewis Shepperd of February 27, 1954, in Gilmer. Mrs. Shepperd was a homemaker 
and a member of Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Weyburn Watts.

Mrs. Shepperd is survived by her husband, Lewis Shepperd of Gilmer; daughters, Melanie 
Shepperd Kennimer of Latch, and Amy Jean Shepperd of Gilmer; two grandchildren and 
spouses, Jesse and Steffanie Shico, and Cody and Jamie Shico; and three great-
grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday evening, September 14, 2007, at the funeral 
home.
