Submitted by Gayla Hart Jason Lindsey Simpson Funeral services for Jason Lindsey Simpson, 44, of Whitehouse, will be 3 p.m. Monday, January 18, 2010, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Gilmer, with Bishop Dean Fowler officiating. Interment will be in Kelsey Cemetery in Upshur County. Mr. Simpson passed away Thursday, January 14, 2010, in Tyler. Jason was born May 1, 1965, in Longview. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and a medical assistant with Tyler Internal Medicine Associates. He is survived by his mother, Sherian Simpson of Whitehouse; daughter, Jasmyn Simpson of Saginaw; granddaughter, Alexa Mishea Thomas; and sisters, Dr. Amy Simpson and husband, Chris Kidd of Whitehouse, Alyssa Ford of Longview and Amanda Simpson of Roanoke, Texas. Mr. Simpson was preceded in death by his father, Richard Michael Simpson. Pallbearers will be Brandon Dodd, Reid Hall, Michael Shane Yocom, Chris Kidd, Jimmy Green, Jerry Richardson, Brady Holladay and Jake Holladay. Honorary pallbearers will be Kelly White, Daron Morgan, Kris Olason, Kent Powers, Scott Smith, Kevin Ford, Casey Tate, Billy Smith, Michael Curtis, Billy Young, Jimmy Hooper and James Ford. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today, January 17, 2010, at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
